About AFC Foundation

A Fighter’s Chance Foundation targets youth and young adults who need direction! We work with young men and women who have experienced a variety of complex adversities, and have either started off on the wrong path or can’t seem to get on the right path. Many of them are struggling with various addiction(s) and chemical dependencies, and feel discarded by society.

Training with Mentorship is the Right Approach

Training with proper mentorship is chess with your own body and mind, along with that of your training partner’s or opponent. It is a way to create, see, and feel immediate success physically mentally, and emotionally. It is a proven system for building self esteem and self-worth, while learning to set short and long term goals, and putting in the work to reach those goals.

We can’t change lives save lives without your donations — your support!

Changing Lives Is the Name of this Game

For those living a destructive lifestyle, or for those who may be recovering from dependancy-related situations, we not only teach them how to be held accountable, but also develop in them the desire to seek accountability so they themselves can become dependable, responsible, and rebuild a healthy self-esteem. They learn to overcome life’s adversities to better themselves & the community they live in. As the AFC Foundation grows, we will branch into after-school programs and strengthen our influence in order to improve the health, behavior and well-being of those chosen for the AFC program. In doing so, give back to the community & those that give to us.

We pride ourselves on proven results! Changing lives is the name of this game. We are quite literally saving lives, and being a non-profit organization who’s beneficiaries immediately begin contributing to their community we are able to affect change in people’s lives on an exponential scale.

Now Is the Time

There has never been anything like this! This will immediately change lives in the most powerful way possible. This has been a project and goal of founder Craig Blacklock for over a decade, and he’s ready to find the investors and team to make it happen!

Veterans and Law Enforcement

AFC is a welcome home for veterans and first responders who have experienced trauma and adversity which has led to PTSD. We provide a facility and environment for these personnel to train and have the association and camaraderie needed to maintain their edge while channeling unwanted or unneeded aggression. Proper training and competition has proven to help with PTSD, building men and women mentally, physically, and emotionally.

These things are important for us all, but especially for those with high risk careers who’ve been or lived through critical incident situations over and over, and at times suffering loss for lives and physical damage to themselves and others they serve with. Becoming part of a team and family who understands is often what these people need in order to leave their past(s) behind them and begin to take the first step(s) into their future.

Girl’s Fight Team

AFC Foundation and W.C.F. gym world class training facility wants to put together the nation’s first female fight team to compete in boxing, kickboxing, submission grappling and MMA (mixed martial arts), like as seen in the UFC.

Women’s MMA is the fastest growing sport for women, bringing huge opportunities around the world! With your help, donations and sponsorship, and eventually a dream facility to help train them, we will be empowering young girls and women by building them up mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially.

Saving lives one at a time and changing others is why we wake up every day and do what we do!

Mexico Outreach

We have a Gorilla’s Gym in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Guadalajara is the capital of the state of Jalisco. It is run by Jose Luis Lopez Mora, and we call him “Jack.” Professor “Jack” is an instructor under Craig Blacklock, and he’s building a strong team and great gym environment for his community. Craig tries to support and help the Gorilla’s Gym financially the best he can, but your help is needed!

Sending essential equipment for kids and adults to train, such a heavy bags and boxing gloves (as seen in photos), and with Professor “Jack” Mora putting together belting and ranking systems for students’ advancement(s), through video as well as Craig Blacklock personally traveling to Mexico to train them and perform tests.

Up to this point, this has been done out of Zack and Craig’s very limited budget(s). They need your financial help!
